Door dings:

Unsightly door dings occur from far too many sources. They may be from a trip to the store, the neighbors lawn mower, but self inflicted dents are the worst. I am a victim of this myself, luckily I know a guy who fixes door dings. The protruding body lines on later model cars seem to be dent magnets. Although they are much tougher than a dent on a flat area, they can still be repaired in many cases. Modern paints, adhesion promoters and flex additives allow paints and substrates to remain much more flexible and elastic than the paints on older vehicles. In combination with thinner sheet metals allow PDR to be a viable repair method for door dings. Repairing door dings by means of PDR can literally save you hundreds of dollars in comparison to conventional body work and paint. Access to the damaged area is gained through many points on a vehicle. They may include but are not limited to, lowered windows, wiring ports, headlight/taillight cavities, wheel wells, and removed accessories.

Hail Damage:

Living here in North East Texas, we are no strangers to adverse weather. This can do unsightly damage to your pride and joy you wash and wax every weekend. Hail Damage can literally total a vehicle…I’ve seen way too many times. The damage your car can sustain varies wildly. Some damage can barely be seen by the naked eye whereas severe damage you can’t miss. We use the latest hail damage estimating software to provide thorough accurate estimates including a breakdown of each panel. Estimates are formulated basically by the number and size of dents per panel with the necessary R&I’s, and any other factors that come into play. Repairability depends on many variables outside of just the size of dents. Location of dents, panel construction material, and the sheer number of dents, and the value of the car are all variables that can effect the decision to repair your hail damaged vehicle by means of PDR. Blended repairs are very common as well. This is the process of repairing as much of the vehicle with PDR as possible and the panels that were unable to be repaired or cost prohibitive to repair would be done conventionally. To complete a hail repair on a damaged vehicle there are many parts that are removed for access or to provide a better, more invisible repair. In the end, you will have saved your factory finish, eliminated hail dents, and preserved the value of your vehicle.

Minor Dents:

Body panels can sometimes sustain sizable dents that although more involved than typical door dings, can still be fixed by means of PDR. These dents and creases can be usually repaired successfully as long as the paint is still undamaged and the metal body panel hasn’t been stretched too much. This variety may be in the 2”-6” range and not too severe. Visually, these are the ones that really stand out and detract from the general appearance of your vehicle….the dents other people notice….

Complex. and Severe Damage:

These are the the ones that look like there’s no way you can fix this without repainting. Many occasions it takes hours or even days to repair properly. We see way too many of these. They are the hardest dent to determine successful repairability. Many more factors go into assessing and evaluating the possible level of repair. Usually they require much more invasive techniques to make repairs on these beasts. More parts may need to be removed/installed, frequently the panel itself will be removed and worked on a specially designed stand that can support the panel in a fashion that renders greater repairability. Sometimes we aren’t the best repair solution for you either…I’ll gladly let you know if your interests are better served by conventional methods of repair. Give us a shot. If your paint isn’t damaged, there’s still a chance to save it.

Catastrophic Damage:

When Mother Nature shows no mercy on your fleet or dealership we can help. Hail damage doesn’t discriminate between new or used cars…no concern if you need those vehicles on the road or need them to sell, and certainly doesn’t show concern for your time restraints. We can usually provide you with the best value and fastest solution to getting those units back on line or rolling. Over the years we’ve been greatly blessed to have worked with/for/employed some of the top techs in our industry. By good fortune many of them we’ve employed many times over and become close friends with. They are the horsepower in situations where you literally have a hundred or more units to repair. This takes a lot of organization up front to make it all happen seamlessly. We only use top notch reputable hail technicians, not a bunch of road hacks with big trucks and flashy banners. We stand behind all we do 100%. We work quietly and professionally to make it all go away.

Insurance Claims

Filing an insurance claim may not always be necessary. Feel free to consult us before you do. Should you file a claim, we’re used to the claims process and will work on your behalf to make it go smoother and get you back in your repaired vehicle as soon as possible.

A few things you should know:

  • Know your comprehensive/collision deductibles

  • Nothing can happen with your repairs until

your insurance adjuster has made an initial

    assessment.

  • Understand your rental car coverage

  • If its a hail claim, it may be handled by

local adjusters or by a catastrophe team

    if there is widespread damage.

  • There is usually a preliminary estimate

on your damage if you make a claim. A

more detailed estimate is most often

    prepared prior to repair approval.

  • It’s YOUR choice where you have your vehicle repaired.
